How to Convert Canva to Google Slides
Canva is a powerful design tool, but sometimes you need your presentation in Google Slides for collaboration or sharing. While there is no direct Canva-to-Google-Slides export, you can easily convert using PowerPoint as an intermediate format.
1Export from Canva as PowerPoint
Open your Canva presentation. Click "Share" in the top right, then "Download". Select "Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx)" as the format and click "Download".
2Upload to Google Drive
Go to drive.google.com. Click "New" then "File upload" and select the downloaded .pptx file. Wait for the upload to complete.
3Open with Google Slides
Double-click the uploaded file in Google Drive. Click "Open with Google Slides" at the top of the preview. Your presentation is now in Google Slides format.
4Save as Google Slides
Go to File > "Save as Google Slides" to create a native Google Slides copy. This ensures full editing capability and removes the .pptx conversion banner.
